The article elaborates on the advantages，disadvantages and challenges of the building Guangzhou International Shipping Hub. With the respects of port operation，infrastructure construction，integrated transportation network，logistics industry and shipping service industry，it introduces the status quo of the building of Guangzhou International Shipping Hub. In this article，seven solutions have been suggested as the followings：to consolidate and elevate its position as a famous international port；to speed up infrastructure construction；to perfect the integrated transportation network；to develop shipping industry；to accelerate shipping service industry；to make the market player bigger and stronger；and to optimize the business environment.
