The economic impact of Brexit on the EU，Germany and the UK depends largely on the final result of the upcoming negotiations，in particular on the future relationship between the UK and the European Union. Because of this uncertainty，a specific and accurate estimate of the economic impact of Brexit is currently not possible. This article will therefore examine the UK’s economic and trade relations with the EU and Germany，make a preliminary qualitative analysis of the impact of Brexit on these relations and analyze the results of some of the latest forecasts of major European economic research institutions，think tanks and government departments.
