The development of professional social work personnel’s capacity is a significant，yet complex systematical project.Effective social work usually plays a very important role in dealing with preventing and resolving social problems，maintaining social stability，and the promoting social progress.It is closely related to building a socialist harmonious society，especially in such a socialist country as ours.However，the development of professional social work personnel is lagging behind in our country and there is a big gap between its need and demand.Many problems exist in the education system，evaluation and assessment mechanisms.In this case，by analyzing of the realistic situation，this paper repositions professional social work personnel，sets up the objectives for the development of China’s professional social work personnel for the first time，and points out that education is the most effective way in developing and strengthening social work personnel.In addition，to realize objectives，the paper proposes an evaluation system for the development of professional social workers’ capacity，and meanwhile makes suggestions in view of the future development of professional social workers’ capacity. <<
