In 2007，the successful “National No Car Day” activity was carried out in Beijing.With the popularity of bicycles and the low costs of public transportation，the “reduce pollution commute” is becoming environmental protection project that is having a deep impact on the city and society.Wide participation of the citizens，promotion by NGOs，and cooperation with the government has resulted in the project’s growing success.
